The Development Squad caters to athletes who want to move into the squads having met the skill requirements for Level 3 and competed in Banded Trampoline Competitions.
We take the following steps to assist the transition into the Development Squad:
- Athletes start by training in a one development squad session in addition to their recreational sessions.
- If keen to completely transition into squads, a meeting will be held with parents to discuss placement in the Development squad, expectations and session availability.
- The focus for these sessions is on skill acquisition and routine development.
- The athlete and coaches will select the appropriate level to compete, athletes in the development squad usually range from Level 3-5.
- Athlete competes in state levels competitions as recommended by coaches.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 4.00pm – 5.30pm
Saturday: 1 – 2.30pm

John XXIII College have been attending Peak as part of our Year 8 Gymnastics program for the past 5 years. From the first lesson the level of improvement in all students is always noticeable with some making outstanding progress. Warm up/cool down drills are highly effective and motivating. The effectiveness of this program is due, in part, to the fact that the coaches are experts and only too willing to demonstrate various skills. The access to equipment is something we would not have the opportunity to use at school. Thank you for an excellent program. Our students enjoyed the range of activities and their skill development. Never had any issues. Program was exceptional. - SantaAriane is very sad to be leaving but she now has a horse which needs looking after! She has adored trampolining and the instructors have been AMAZING. I am so grateful to you all.
